Installation

These images show a wide-angle view of my art course work final piece - the perspex lightboxes, the array of glowing coloured threads, and the six individual photographic images of figures illuminated, blurred by the effect of coloured, flashgun gels. The room was approximately 1.5 x 4.0 x 3.0 m. The piece was the end product of months of investigations, studies, and plans under the title of "Boundaries". Each element was carefully constructed and evolved from studies in my coursework. These studies were pieces composed in response to several artists including installation and sculptural artists Fred Sandback and James Turrell, and photographer William Eggleston.
